The poor grass and clover are fairly well devastated by all of the heat and the lack of rain. Oh, well.

Everything's pretty dried out, due to the intense heat (we broke a record yesterday, topping out at 101 degrees. Ugh.), so perhaps there won't be any more peas. We'll see.

Will be away for a few days. Harvested more peas the other day. We might actually even get a few more this year! Amazing! We don't normally get them after mid-July.

Finally, the weather has broken, although it'll only be for a few days. Time to do everything I've been putting off.

The hibiscus is outta control! Huge blooms!

Ate the last of the garden peas. But now the hibiscus is blooming!

Heat seems to be breaking. The lawn is starting to get pretty brown.
